CLOSED - Global Head of IT
Our client - is a leading venture capital, focusing on online gaming and related products, fintech, and sustainable real estate. The holding company was founded in 2014 in Switzerland. The office in Singapore is recently established with 5 people based here.
On behalf of our client, we seek a Workspace Automation & Network Manager to oversee and manage automation across five company offices with 300 employees in total. The role is based in Singapore with reporting to the Group CEO and the Founder.
Preference will be given to the candidates fluent in French and English to manage relationships with the headquarter and the CTO successfully. The role requires travel to Cyprus, Malta, Monaco, etc.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for overseeing the corporate workspace environment, the office network infrastructure, as well as leading the service desk and workspace automation teams. This role requires a good understanding of authorization and authentication protocols, a significant preference for automation over manual work, an appetite for cybersecurity related matters and the ability to efficiently manage collaborators located in various locations around the globe.
You will lead a team of 5 remote direct reports ensuring consistent implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and workspace solutions, for all offices/employees to have standardized and efficient IT systems, tools, and access.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust office network infrastructure in all office locations.
2. Streamline processes (Through automation): Review and automate corporate processes (Notably around asset management, access control and user provisioning). Promote normalization, ensure all offices utilize the same tools, systems, and processes to maintain consistency.
3. Cyber Security: Define and develop policies aiming to protect the corporate workspace against modern security threats, including by enforcing security best practices, implementing new solutions, and raising collaborator awareness.
4. Audit and compliance: Ensure the workspace environment remains compliant with applicable local laws and global jurisdictions. Contribute to the (ISMS) audit the company is subject to.
5. Budget Management: Develop and manage the workspace related budget, including software licensing and assets procurements, and ensure cost-effective solutions. Anticipate renewal cycles, negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
6. Project management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, develop and maintain the roadmap, and regularly communicate on progress
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies, notably in terms of cyber security. Seek opportunities to improve network infrastructure and workspace automation processes.
8. Management: Lead, mentor, and manage Workspace Automation & Service Desk teams around the World and more. Ensure team efficiency in a remote work environment.

Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Preferably 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and workspace management or similar role.
Proven experience managing remote IT teams
Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, authentication/authorization protocols and cybersecurity.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Based in Singapore or willing to relocate. Fluent in French and English is a must.
Tech skills:
Deep understanding of IAM based ecosystems, such as Okta or Entra.
Fluent with authentication and authorization protocols. SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, Kerberos or passwordless are familiar vocabulary.
Experience with office solutions such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Problem-solving skills, ability to make quick and effective decisions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, result oriented.
Experience with MDM/UEM and EDR solutions is a plus.
